Days of our Lives' Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) has teamed up with Homes 4 Families to build a house for a veteran family, and the actor would appreciate fans' help with his charitable efforts.
He's usually up to no good as Days of our Lives' troublemaker Xander Kiriakis, but actor Paul Telfer is up to LOTS of good in his real-life. He and his wife Carmen Cusack are building a home for a veteran this weekend -- and fans can join in on the pair's philanthropic efforts.
Telfer took to Twitter to share that he and Cusack will be donning hardhats on Saturday, October 5, and helping construct a house for a veteran family through the charity organization Homes 4 Families.
"Last time @carmen_cusack and I wore hardhats it was just for some vacation fun. But on October 5th, we'll be building a home for a veteran family with @Homes4Familes," Telfer shared, adding that he and Cusack would love fan support for their charity endeavor and that anyone interested in more information or making a donation can visit the couple's fundraising page.

Homes 4 Families was founded in Los Angeles in 2008 and exists to meet the significant need for affordable housing and effective, no-cost services that equip veteran families to move up the economic ladder. With the support of CalVet and generous corporate sponsors and individual donors, the charity has helped over 374 low-income families achieve their dreams of safe, affordable home ownership. This includes 138 low-income veterans and military families. In the next few years, the charity plans to add 77 additional military families to that number.
Telfer joined the cast of DAYS in 2015. The Scottish actor also stars in the soon-to-be-released feature Green Fever. His previous credits include NCIS, The Vampire Diaries, Once Upon a Time, Agents Of Shield, and Hercules.
Cusack is a Tony and Grammy nominated performer known for Broadway's Bright Star. She will be appearing alongside Tom Hanks in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and in CBS Studios/Facebook's acclaimed series Sorry for Your Loss, which debuts its second season today, October 1.
