Has time run out for Days of our Lives' Ted Laurent? It appears so, with teasers pointing to the impending exit of portrayer Gilles Marini.

As viewers of the NBC soap opera have seen, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) recently demanded that Xander (Peter Telfer) take care of the manipulative D.A. But she was forced to take matters into her own hands when Xander appeared to suddenly grow a conscience. Rumor has it that today, August 5, will be Ted's final episode, as Kristen finally gets what she wants...

Marini made his DAYS debut in June of 2018 as a lawyer who was drawn to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). However, Ted later romanced Hope (Kristian Alfonso), who -- though she just broke up with him -- may find herself experiencing yet another broken heart once the dastardly D.A. disappears.

Marini's previous credits include the recurring role of Dr. Ghode on The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as roles on television series like Switched at Birth, Devious Maids, 2 Broke Girls, Brothers & Sisters, Sex and the City, and Nip/Tuck.
