Hallmark's The Chronicle Mysteries, starring Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), will also feature Linda Dano (ex-Rae Cummings, General Hospital/One Life to Live/All My Children; ex-Felicia Gallant, Another World).
If you're a fan of Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), then Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has your Sunday nights planned for the next couple of months. Starting this Sunday, February 17, the network will begin airing the daytime star's new film series, The Chronicle Mysteries. And it turns out veteran soap opera actress Linda Dano (ex-Rae Cummings, General Hospital/One Life to Live/All My Children; ex-Felicia Gallant, Another World; ex-Cynthia Haines, As the World Turns; ex-Lena Kendall, Guiding Light) will be coming aboard for episode three.
As Soap Central previously reported, The Chronicle Mysteries is a series of films that center around podcaster and novelist Roberta "Robbie" McPherson (Sweeney), who is researching the cold case of Gina DeSavio. Robbie loves solving any puzzle or mystery but is particularly interested in Gina's disappearance because Robbie and Gina knew each other as children.
Dano took to Twitter during Hallmark's recent TCA gala to share that she will be starring in an episode titled The Chronicle Mysteries: Vines That Bind that is set to air on Sunday, March 3.

"Watch Alison Sweeney's new series Chronicle Mysteries, I appear in episode three!" she tweeted.
Dano has a long history in daytime television, beginning with her 1978 role as One Life to Live's Gretel Cummings, a character she later took to General Hospital, Port Charles and All My Children under the name Rae Cummings. The California native also played As the World Turns' Cynthia Haines from 1981 to 1982, Another World's Felicia Gallant from 1982 to 1999, and Guiding Light's Lena Kendall in 2000.
Sweeney both stars in and produces The Chronicle Mysteries, which will premiere its first episode titled The Chronicle Mysteries: Recovered on Sunday, February 17 at 9PM/8C on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
