Days of our Lives' Farah Fath thanks fans for all of their support as she ends her short run as Mimi Lockhart.
After sharing an emotional goodbye with her mom Bonnie, Days of our Lives' Mimi Lockhart left town this week, bringing portrayer Farah Fath's short return to Salem to an end.
The actress took to Twitter with a goodbye message, writing: "That's a wrap for Mimi on #DOOL! Fun little story, hope you enjoyed it and thanks @carlivatiron for having me and thanks to the fans for the nice messages."

News that Fath was returning to the role she originated in 1999 broke earlier this spring, and the announcement spurred massive fan support. DAYS fans were happy for the blast-from-the-past reappearance and One Life to Live fans were equally happy: after Fath left DAYS in 2007, she landed the role of OLTL's Gigi Morasco -- a part that was originally written by DAYS' current head writer, Ron Carlivati, during the time he spent writing for OLTL alongside Dena Higley.
Mimi was originally part of DAYS' early 2000s teen scene opposite fan-favorite characters like Shawn-Douglas Brady (Jason Cook/Brandon Beemer), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), and Belle Black (Martha Madison). Considering Mimi is all grown up, her recent return to the canvas was much more adult-centric, with her storyline focusing on the true maternity of baby Bonnie. While it was first believed that the child belonged to Bonnie (Judi Evans) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), it turns out the infant was actually Mimi's child with Rex (Kyle Lowder).
Fath's run as DAYS' Mimi may be over, but she has another role coming up soon: she and her husband Phil Galfond are expecting a baby boy at Christmastime this year. As the actress explains in an Instagram post, news that she has a bun in the oven is extra special because she suffered a devastating miscarriage three years ago.
"At last, we have found ourselves blessed with what the internet calls, our 'rainbow baby,'" the actress writes, explaining that the term describes a baby who follows a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss -- in other words, a gorgeous miracle that follows stormy times.
"Even though our road to becoming parents was slightly bumpy (some women have it SO much worse!), we never once felt sorry for ourselves," Fath shares. "Instead, we continued to feel extremely blessed no matter our destiny. Personally speaking, I was always at peace with whatever our future held because it's Phil that is the most important thing in the world to me. Our relationship is all I truly need. But now that I know we are in fact meant to be Mom and Dad, I'm mostly just excited because I'm on this adventure with my BFF."
After Fath's final appearance, DAYS' head writer Ron Carlivati took to social media with a goodbye that hints the door has been left open for Mimi's return at some point in the future.
"From Gigi to Mimi, always a pleasure to write for Ms. Fath...still a total pro!" he shared. "Until next time..."
