DAYS' Camila Banus stars in psycho-thriller Killer Caregiver

Friday the 13th is set to be extra creepy this year, with Days of our Lives star Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) starring in Lifetime's psychological thriller Killer Caregiver.

Summer is usually filled with sunshine and unicorns, but the season will be taking a turn to the dark side next Friday, July 13th. Lifetime has chosen the ominous date to air its new thriller Killer Caregiver, which stars Days of our Lives' Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) in an evil role.

The story follows an injured woman who hires a young, attractive, live-in caregiver named Tess (Banus) to help nurse her back to health. But when strange and dangerous things begin to unfold before her very eyes, she realizes that the pretty young helper she hired isn't at all what she seems to be.

Directed by John Murlowski, the film also stars Nicole Hayden, Cameron Kelly, Josh Archer, and George Stults.

Fans of Banus will no doubt be thrilled to see the actress on their television screens, considering she's been somewhat on the backburner at DAYS recently. Gabi has been locked in prison for the murder of Andre DiMera -- but the drama will definitely be heating up now that she has been released and is hellbent on taking down Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and her friend Abigail (Marci Miller).

In the meantime, be sure to catch Banus in the premiere of Killer Caregiver on Friday, July 13, at 8PM ET/7PM CT on Lifetime.
