Good news, Days of our Lives fans: Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) reveals she has signed a new contract, and there will be plenty of "Gabinessquot; ahead.

If you've been enjoying Gabi Hernandez's ber tumultuous storyline on Days of our Lives, you're in luck. Her portrayer, Camila Banus, has signed on to stay in Salem another year, meaning the drama has no end in sight.

The actress took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, writing: "Guess what? I'm staying!"

Banus continues, specifically addressing fans who have been worried about her status with the NBC soap.

"For those of you who have wondered if I re-signed? Well, I did! You will for sure have more Gabiness for another year!" she writes. "Thanks to everyone that follows my storyline and the show in general! We have a thriving medium with many many viewers and I am so lucky to be a part of that! Thanks NBC for letting us be part of this amazing family! Thanks DAYS for the chance of being Gabi once again!"

Banus joined DAYS in 2010 and played the role of Gabi continuously until 2014. After taking a short hiatus from daytime, she returned to Salem in 2015 and has been playing Gabi since. The actresses' other credits include Mistresses, Gabriel, Snowfall, and One Life to Live (ex-Lola Montez).
