Days of our Lives James Lastovic, who exited the role of Joey Johnson earlier this year, has landed a recurring role on the upcoming Netflix series Insatiable.
Days of our Lives fans had to say goodbye to James Lastovic earlier this year when his alter ego, Joey Johnson, was sent to prison, but the Emmy nominee already has his next gig lined up.
According to Deadline, Lastovic has been cast in the recurring role of Christian in the upcoming Netflix series Insatiable.
Created and executive produced by Lauren Gussis, and directed by Andrew Fleming, Insatiable -- inspired by real-life Southern lawyer and beauty pageant coach Bill Alverson -- follows a character named Bob (Dallas Roberts) who is a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach that takes on Patty (Debby Ryan), a vengeful, bullied teenager, as his client.

Lasovic will play Christian -- a teen raised by a mother in the Junior League and a preacher father -- who naturally rebels against his wholesome family, which makes him an outcast and quite popular.
Jordan Gelber, Sarah Colonna, Alyssa Milano, Erinn Westbrook, Michael Provost, and Chris Gorham also star in the dark comedy series.
Lastovic joined DAYS as Patch and Kayla's son in 2015. He went on to earn a Daytime Emmy nomination for the 2016 storyline in which Joey killed Tamara Braun's Ava. Unfortunately for fans of the young actor, the dramatic storyline swept Joey off the canvas earlier this year when the character was sent to prison for the crime.
