Days of our Lives alum Guy Wilson is speaking out about the show's decision to bring back Will Horton, a role Wilson played from 2014 to 2015.
Days of our Lives fans have been cheering the news that Will Horton will be headed back to their TV screens later this year. Though he was the last actor to portray Will Horton before Will's "death," Guy Wilson isn't upset that he won't be the actor bringing the character back into the fold.
"Whether it were me, Chandler, or an entirely new recast, the world needs Will Horton," Wilson wrote in an Instagram post. "I couldn't be more happy that Chandler Massey, a tremendous daytime actor and a friend to boot, is back in the saddle as the steward of such an important LGBTQ icon."

Wilson also took time out to praise the show's executive producer and head writer for the decision to bring back Will.
"That Ken Corday and Ron Carlivati recognized the transcendent value of Will Horton is a testament to their class and leadership as creative executives."
Wilson took over the role of Will after Massey announced in June 2013 that he would be exiting DAYS when his contracted expired at the end of that year.
