T-Boz, who was part of the popular 90s trio TLC, is heading to Days of our Lives.
TLC crooned that you shouldn't go chasing waterfalls, but you certainly can chase one of the group's members, T-Boz (a.k.a. Tionne Watkins), to Days of our Lives. The NBC soap has cast the singer for a special guest-starring role.
According to ET, T-Boz will be debuting on Wednesday, November 30, as a dangerous inmate named Sheila who sets her sights on terrorizing Hope (Kristian Alfonso) while the former cop is in prison. The Iowa native is scheduled to appear in Salem through January.
This isn't T-Boz's first foray into acting. She previously appeared in the 1998 film Belly. Performing with Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, TLC scored top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in the 1990s, including four number-one singles: "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs," and "Unpretty."
T-Boz's debut date coincides with Deidre Hall reprising her role as Hattie, the risqu Marlena look-alike who's behind bars for embezzlement. As Soap Central previously reported, Glee star Dot-Marie Jones will also join the pair in the prison scenes as Chille.
