Days of our Lives has cast Melrose Place alum Vanessa Williams as the new Valerie Grant.
Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) has been a household name among Days of our Lives fans since she made her debut on the NBC soap in 1998. The Emmy-nominated actress' name has now gone mainstream, but it's probably not in a way that she would have wanted.Previously unreleased video of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump making a 2005 visit to the DAYS set has surfaced and it's sparked more controversy than any soap opera plot ever has.In the video obtained by the Washington Post, Trump and Bush are aboard the Access Hollywood bus discussing"I've gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her," Trump says."You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful -- I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait.""And when you're a star they let you do it," Trump says. "You can do anything."Late Friday, Trump issued a statement on the video."This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course -- not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended," Trump said in a statement released by his campaign.Trump's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to address the tape. "This is horrific," she tweeted. "We cannot allow this man to become president."
