Hold onto your seats, Days of our Lives fans, because it looks like James Read's devilish Clyde Weston is on his way back to Salem.
Days of our Lives may be gearing up for an on-screen hiatus due to the Olympics, but that doesn't mean behind-the-scenes excitement is ceasing to entertain fans. The show is going off the air for two weeks after this Friday's episode, but fans can look forward to all kinds of drama once it returns -- including a surprise reappearance by James Read in the role of Clyde Weston.
The actor took to Twitter with a confirmation of his return, writing, "Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes -- So appreciate it! Be on the lookout -- Clyde rides again in early Sept"

As fans may recall, Read's Clyde last aired back in October of 2015, shortly before it was revealed to everyone in Salem that his son, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), was the Necktie Killer.
