DAYS searching for gorgeous African American actor to take on new role

Days of our Lives is looking for a black actor for a role described as a gorgeous man every woman would kill to call her own.

It sounds like Salemites are in for quite a treat, because Days of our Lives is reportedly on the hunt for a handsome African American man for a new role.

Soap Opera Digest reports that the NBC soap has put out a casting call for a "gorgeous African American male in his late 20s to play the role of Levi."

Levi is described as the perfect man who pretty much every woman would drool over. "He's funny, quick-witted, protective, intelligent and makes an honest living working hard and loving what he does," the casting call states. "He can come off as edgy, not angry."

The recurring role has the possibility of turning contract and is scheduled to begin taping in late August with a first airdate in 2017.
