Anne-Marie Johnson returns to DAYS in a new role

Days of our Lives has cast Anne-Marie Johnson in a new recurring role.

Days of our Lives' Salem will soon be one resident larger, because the NBC soap has cast Anne-Marie Johnson in a mystery recurring role, which the actress announced last week on Hallmark's daytime talk show, Home & Family.

This isn't the first time the California native has been on DAYS; she briefly played the role of Dr. Patel on the series back in 2012. Further details about her current role have yet to be revealed, but rumor has it the part isn't slated to be lengthy.

In addition to her prior DAYS stint, Johnson has appeared on a variety of shows including Children's Hospital, House of Payne, That's So Raven, Melrose Place, and In the Heat of the Night.
