According to popular DAYS fan site Jason 47, Cosgrove -- who left Salem after his alter ego was presumed dead back in November -- will be returning for a lengthy stay later this spring.
Unfortunately, it's still unclear if the actor will be taking on a brand new character or returning as the ghost of Aiden -- or if the character actually didn't die as viewers were led to believe.
