Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady) is fighting back after a company used her likeness to sell diet pills without her consent.
Days of our Lives alum Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) is seeing red after a company used her likeness to promote a diet supplement she has nothing to do with.
In a video posted to her Facebook page, the actress explains the situation that has left her fighting to keep her reputation as a proponent of healthy living intact. "I am appalled by this bogus Internet scam that is out there lying to you, my friends and my fans," she states in the video. "I would never endorse or support a product that doesn't believe in living a healthy lifestyle. There is currently a diet supplement product on the market that has posted a fake Instagram, claiming that it's from me, and a fake article that is asserting all sorts of things that I have never said and would never say. They are lying to sell their product."
She continues: "What you are seeing here is a form of identity theft... They have to be stopped, and I, for one am fighting back."
