Days of our Lives' youngster Lauren Boles (Ciara Brady) has said goodbye to Salem while new portrayer Vivian Jovanni prepares to make her debut in the role.
It looks like Days of our Lives fans have seen the last of daytime starlet Lauren Boles in the role of Ciara Brady. The actress last appeared as Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Bo's (Peter Reckell) daughter on September 30.
"Bye Days of our Lives!" the actress wrote on Instagram. "My last episode airing was on September 30, 2015. I hope you had the chance to watch it. Even though I just played the role Ciara, there's always going to be a little bit of her inside me. I'll miss you, but I hope to come visit soon!"
Beginning on Friday, October 30, actress Vivian Jovanni will play a SORAS'd version of the role Boles has played since 2008. The actress, who's also appeared on The Bay, will make her DAYS debut the same day Jonathan McClendon takes over the role of Aiden's (Daniel Cosgrove) son, Chase.
"Young people are the lifeblood of any soap -- especially ours as we head toward our 50th anniversary in November," the soap's executive producer, Ken Corday, said about the decision to SORAS many of its young characters. "By aging these children into young adults, we're making them more relatable to our audience and more dramatically exciting. These are not ancillary characters, but young leads. None of them will be a goody two-shoes. Each is somewhat flawed."
