Peter Reckell says DAYS' new writers will bring them to tears

Days of our Lives' Peter Reckell (Bo) warns fans that they'd better have Kleenex ready for the soap's upcoming anniversary episodes.

Fans are no doubt excited about Peter Reckell's (Bo Brady) upcoming return as Days of our Lives' Bo, but it seems the star's excitement about the episodes ahead is giving fans' enthusiasm a run for its money.

The popular actor took to Twitter to give some major props to the NBC soap's new writing team -- Dena Higley and Josh Griffith -- and their plan for the series' November 8 birthday. "These new writers are really inspired for the 50th anniversary," he wrote. "They will have you laughing, crying, jumping for joy!!!"

Reckell, who teased to Soap Central that Bo will have an "ultimate hero moment" come this fall, also tweeted that he has exciting material ahead that he's actually a bit nervous to shoot.

In addition to Reckell, several other former cast members are scheduled to return for DAYS' 50th anniversary, including Stephen Nichols and Alison Sweeney.
