The NBC soap is thisclose to finding its hunk from Down Under.
Holy Vegemite: the search for an Australian actor to take on the role of Days of our Lives' new gent, Finn, has been narrowed down to three final men.
Over 300 talented, gorgeous Aussie actors entered the competition to win the 13-week contract as Salem's new doctor, and 31-year-old Alexander Bruszt, 30-year-old Tom Dalzell, and 30-year-old Andrew Steel are the final three vying for the role.
"The number of submissions and the caliber of the talent we were introduced to through this partnership with [television network] Arena far exceeded our expectations," says DAYS' co-executive producer, Greg Meng. "We're thrilled about testing the top three finalists next week."

All three of the Australian natives have prior acting experience on shows like Home and Away, Packed to the Rafters, and Wonderland. So, as Bruszt told TV Week: "May the best man win!"
News of the Aussie search was first reported by soapcentral.com back in early March.
