NBC's Days of our Lives took home top honors at this year's GLAAD Media awards, edging out ABC's General Hospital.
Days of our Lives may be falling behind General Hospital in the ratings, but the NBC soap bested the ABC series at this weekend's 26th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The two soaps were pitted against each other in the category of Outstanding Daily Drama, and DAYS took home the top honor.
Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis), Guy Wilson (Will Horton), and Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) accepted the show's award, which recognizes and honors the media for their fair and accurate representation of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives.
What do you think about DAYS winning in the category of Outstanding Daily Drama? Do you feel it was deserved, or would you rather have seen GH take home the award?
