Former DAYS actor and Bravo Work Out star Greg Plitt is dead after being struck by a train.
Bravo Work Out star and former Days of our Lives actor Greg Plitt died over the weekend after being struck by a Metrolink train in Burbank, California. The fitness expert was only 37.
Witnesses say the actor had a video camera in his hand right before being struck by the train on Saturday, January 17, and a friend of the former model confirms that he was filming an advertisement for a protein shake at the time.
Burbank Police Department Sgt. Scott Meadows told People that Plitt's death "does not appear to be a suicide." He added, "A camera was seized as evidence but it's unclear who it belongs to -- the victim or a witness. From the sound of it, he was filming something, but I can tell you that no filming permit had been issued."
