Though the show has yet to comment officially, a published report states that Days of our Lives has hired former All My Children star Rob Wilson as its new Ben.
A casting change is coming to Days of our Lives. The NBC soap has opted to recast the role of Jordan's brother, Ben Rogers.
Soap Opera Digest reports that Robert Scott Wilson (ex-Pete Cortlandt, All My Children) will take over the role of Ben. Wilson has been taping scenes at DAYS since January; the actor was on-set in January when Days of our Lives celebrated its renewal.
In addition to his work in the online reboot of AMC, Wilson also made history in another area of daytime: in September 2012, he became the first male model on The Price is Right.
"Thank you ALL for your love and support," Wilson wrote on Twitter. "@PriceIsRight will always have a place in my heart and my journey. Many new things on the horizon!"With Wilson taking over the role, that means newcomer Justin Gaston is out. Gaston first aired on February 26, and the actor will continue to air for at least another few weeks.Wilson will first air Thursday, May 22.
