Though they are married in real life, Arianne Zucker and Kyle Lowder will play siblings in the upcoming season of the web series, Devanity.
Season three of the web series DeVanity guarantees to turn up the heat DeVanity style as it reunites the popular Days of Our Lives husband and wife acting team of Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady Black)This time, though, the pair will not play romantic interests; they'll play siblings. Zucker has contracted to play Julia Regis, sister to her real-life husband's character, Andrew Regis, a cutthroat leader of his family's jewelry dynasty.
"If you think you've seen Arianne play bad before, think again," teased Michael Caruso, who created and stars in the series. According to Soap Opera Digest, Zucker signed on for at least six of the season's seven episodes, and her character, Julia, will attack the DeVanity family's women when they least expect it. Julia is also the daughter of Preston Regis, played by Gordon Thomson (Mason, Santa Barbara).
Caruso believes it will be a fun opportunity for Zucker and Lowder to share the screen again. The duo is best known for their DAYS' portrayals of Nicole Walker (on and off since 1998) and Brady Black (2000 to 2005), and on that set, they met and fell in love. Lowder originally joined the DeVanity cast in 2011 in his villainous role as the business rival of the DeVanity family, and Zucker will debut as his twisted sister when season three begins in January 2013.
