Bren Foster makes his debut as Days of our Lives' mononymic Quinn during May Sweeps. The Australian actor was hired in early March for the role of a charming businessman that, at the time, was going by another name.
As first reported by Soap Central in March, Australian actor Bren Foster has been cast as the show's single-named Quinn. Now, the actor's first airdate has been announced -- and it comes just in time for May Sweeps.
When DAYS was first casting the role, the casting breakdowns referred to the character as "Fletcher." Viewers shouldn't be alarmed that the character's name has changed. In fact, the names used for casting calls are quite often changed by the time the character gets written into actual scenes.
The casting call also offered a bit of a description of the character, referring to him as a "charming businessman with an edge. He can be clean cut or not. He is sexy, mysterious and savvy, has an easy way with the ladies but can be formidable if crossed."
Prior to his Days of our Lives hiring, Foster appeared on the Australian soap, Home and Away. He appeared in a few films released domestically in Australia, but U.S. moviegoers will see him in the film War Flowers, due out later this year.
Foster makes his DAYS debut in scenes with Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane), when Quinn buys Chloe a drink at the Cheatin' Heart -- and jumps to a very wrong assumption about who she is. Will two people from different walks of life find that they have something in common?
Foster makes his first on-screen appearance on Thursday, May 5.
