Silas Blissett is one of the most terrifying characters in Hollyoaks. Though on the outside he doesn't look like he would be able to do any harm, on the inside he harbors immense hatred and a villainous attitude that has reigned terror throughout his presence in the series.

A harmless grandfather turned into a killing machine—Silas Blissett truly had us fooled in the beginning. He was mild-mannered on the outside and would target women who, according to him, had low morals. He believed that his actions were not harmful.

When a mean character believes that their actions are good, then they truly become a scary one. This twisted ideology of Silas Blissett made him a horrifying character in Hollyoaks. He killed his own wife when he found out that she was having an affair with their neighbor.

He then killed India by pretending to have trouble with his car. When India tried to help him, he strangled her to death. He even strangled Nancy Hayton when she tried to find the truth about India’s death. Silas is a character who gives us a chilling reminder of the darkness that can lurk behind a seemingly normal persona. He left widespread distress wherever he went.
