Devon and Hilary’s relationship had one of the most tragic endings in American daily soap history. Despite their complicated past, including Hilary's involvement with Neil, they both had strong feelings for each other, which always drew them toward one another.

Eventually, they got married in August 2015, but it did not last long due to Hilary falling into a coma. Later, Devon left her after discovering that she had lied to stay on his tabloid show, GC Buzz. However, after getting injured in a fatal car accident in 2018, the couple married in the hospital. Sadly, Hilary passed away just a day later, ending their passionate relationship.

Erica (Susan Lucci) and Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) had a tumultuous relationship over the years in All My Children. Initially, she was married to Jack’s brother, Travis, but eventually fell in love with Jack.

The couple had several reunions, which led to them getting almost engaged or married. It was in Florida that the wedding finally took place. The marriage, however, fell apart after Erica forged commitment papers with Mary Smythe’s name, trying to institutionalize Grenlee to Oak Haven after he almost killed Erica’s grandson, Spike Lavery.

Although the couple's relationship was marked by a strong chemistry, their reunions were always short-lived.
