Tonight on Coronation Street, Alina's fear that she is being watched proves to be justified, Dee-Dee braces herself for a difficult conversation with Emily, and Amy's decision to quit her job delights Rowan.
Coronation Street tonight: Evelyn gives family advice to Tyrone
Dee Dee checks in on Lauren, and they talk about Joel. Lauren says if Joel was a teacher, he’d be prevented from teaching. Dee Dee agrees that someone who breaks the law shouldn’t represent it. She calls the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority and reports the accusations against Joel.
Fiz cries to Evelyn about the situation with Alina, so Evelyn talks to Ty about doing the right thing for everyone in the family, not just Dorin. Ty agreed to take Dorin to work with him as Alina needed to make a victim impact statement for the court.
Coronation Street tonight: Sarah is brought in for questioning
Sarah tells Lisa that Bethany fears Nathan’s mates are out to get her and won’t leave her room. Sarah tells Lisa that Nathan is a liar, but she thinks that Lauren can tell the truth about her.
Sarah adds that Joel and Nathan are dangerous, and Lauren would fear reprisals if she talked about them. At the Bistro, Rowan tells Amy that she should take over Leanne’s investment in the resource center.
Instead of waitressing, Rowan says Amy could be turning a profit for herself. When Nick and Toyah come in later, Amy is angry. The Bistro had been busy, and Nick wasn’t taking her calls for help. Amy quits on the spot and goes to join Rowan instead.
Nick and Toyah go back home, happy they spent more time together. Toyah tells Nick not to let Rowan get under his skin.
Sarah tells Daniel that Lisa had her in for more questioning. Sarah says she stuck to the story but that Daniel needs to get Bethany to back down on her campaigns against Nathan. Sarah worries that Joel and Nathan will go free, and she will be sent down for it.
Coronation Street tonight: Beth apologizes to Craig
At the pub, Craig bumps into Beth and Kirk. Beth apologizes to Craig for doing him wrong and asks for forgiveness. Craig gets his mum to tell Kirk why she got fired at the factory. Kirk blows up at more of her lies and storms off.
Lisa tells Kit that Nathan might have been set up, and suspects Joel knows. Kit tells Lisa that Joel is smooth and has gotten under her skin. Kit says it doesn’t matter if the DNA got there by accident or if Joel and Nathan conspired — the only thing that matters is getting Joel off the streets.
Emily meets with Dee Dee and hears all the details of what Joel did to Lauren and Frankie. Dee Dee says Joel is dangerous and doesn’t care who he hurts. She advises Emily to rethink letting him be around Maeve.
Daniel sees Kit and tells him that Sarah didn’t plant Lauren’s hair in Nathan’s van, but they both know who did. “Sarah’s worried sick, and Bethany’s spinning out,” Daniel says to Kit, “You need to do the right thing,” Kit suggests that Lisa interviewed Sarah to rule out that Nathan was telling the truth.
Kit reminds Daniel that the only other suspect is Sarah and that they should drop this. Daniels asks if he is threatening them.
Coronation Street tonight: Alina is attacked
Thinking it’s the plumber, Alina opens her door. The man who has been following her bursts in and roughs her up as she is screaming for help. He tells Alina she is not to testify in court against the people he works for. Ronnie hears Alina’s screams and fights the man off, then calls the police.
Ty and Fiz bring Dorin home from the park and put him down for a nap. Alina comes in the back door with a bag and says that she needs to hide somewhere until the trial is over.
She asks Fiz and Ty to take care of Dorin while she’s gone. After Alina leaves, Fiz is worried that they are all in danger with Dorin staying there.
Daisy sees Daniel’s reaction to Kit coming into the pub. She goes to Daniel’s and asks him what that was about. Daniel tells her that he thinks Kit had something to do with trying to get Nathan sent down for Lauren’s attack.
Daniel says that he confronted Kit, but he told him to drop it. Daisy warns Daniel that Kit seems nice but she gets the feeling he’s not someone you want to cross.
Coronation Street tonight: Dee Dee’s tracking app works
Daniel goes to Sarah’s and tells her that Kit is hard to read, but he might be telling the truth about not being involved. Daniel repeats Kit’s warning that they should stay out of it and thinks they should take his advice.
Dee Dee’s tracker app notifies her that Joel is nearby. He storms into her office and tells her that he was suspended at work, but he is more upset that she got Emily to prevent him from seeing Maeve. Dee Dee tells Joel that she told Emily the truth, and he can be mad at himself for the repercussions.
Joel sneers that the only thing the police can prove is that he slept with Lauren. He warns Dee Dee that he will walk free and she will regret what she’s done to him. Dee Dee smiles and tells him to kindly shut the door on his way out, but after he leaves, she trembles in fear.
