Tonight on Coronation Street, Nick is in a precarious situation at home, Ty continues to struggle, Rowan loses sight of Leanne, and Dee Dee makes a startling discovery.
Alina is disappointed when Ty offers to take the girls to a film the next day but later cancels the plans so that he can spend time with Dorin.
Nick, Sam, and Leanne go to the hospital to pick up Toyah and bring her home. Rowan shows up as they get in the car and tells Leanne that the Institute is fast-tracking her to level 8 and will accommodate her needs as a caregiver for Toyah. At the hospital, she tells Toyah about it, and Toyah suggests that Leanne take Sam and visit Simon. As they leave, Rowan sees them driving off and wants to know where they are going. Nick tells him it’s none of his business. Rowan accuses Nick of orchestrating getting Leanne out of town so that he can be alone with Toyah.
Nick goes back home and tells Toyah what Rowan said to him. She laughs it off and says they can prove to themselves that they can be platonic.
Coronation Street tonight: Emily drops a bomb on Dee Dee about Joel
Dee Dee suggests to Joel that they include Maeve in the wedding as a flower girl, but he doesn’t want to ask Emily. Dee Dee contacts her herself and meets at the restaurant to ask her. Emily says she’ll mull it over. Dee Dee gives her a charm for Maeve’s bracelet, but Emily doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Emily tells Dee Dee that her divorce is final and Joel has nothing over her anymore. She says that Dee Dee seems kind and to be careful of Joel. Then Emily informs Dee Dee that Joel still has his apartment and is paying for everything there; it was verified in the divorce.
Joel leaves his bag behind, so Dee Dee gets his keys and searches his apartment. She finds a bottle of red nail polish.
Coronation Street tonight: Tracy disrupts the way Cassie is helping Kenny
Tracy returns from Spain and isn’t pleased that Cassie is caring for her dad. Tracy and Cassie put Steve in the middle while they name-call each other. Later, Mary comes to see Tracy while she’s visiting with her dad. Tracy announces she’ll be staying a while and dismisses Cassie.
Ryan and Kit meet and decide to go for a pint after bonding over their common interest in music. Daisy watches them bond from the bar.
Coronation Street: All eyes are on Joel and his answers to many questions
Betsy tells her mom about Joel bruising her. Lisa brings Joel to an interview room and questions him about it. He tells her that Betsy is young and delusional and her crush on him is one-sided. He insists that he has never laid a hand on Betsy. Lisa gave him a ride home, but she didn’t look convinced as he walked away.
Dee Dee questions Joel about the apartment and demands to know whose nail polish she found there. Joel smoothly explains that he was subletting and didn’t want to tell her he was breaking the law and struggling to make ends meet. Dee Dee says she forgives him for lying and that they can move on, but her smile fades when he walks away.
