Will was bored of looking at Liam’s photos and interrupted to bring the attention back to Lainey and Toni. Lainey said she worked in marketing for Forrester and thought her job would be more exciting if Will joined their team. Liam told the girls all the reasons he thought Will was amazing. Liam said Will was a great uncle, and he went back to showing them more photos of his kids.
Sheila walked up to the table and greeted Liam. She found out who the girls were and offered to send over dessert. Liam got a text from his manny, Bodie, who was bringing Beth to the restaurant. Liam excitedly told Lainey and Toni they could meet one of his daughters. The girls made a quick exit back to work. Will told Lainey they should try again another time, and she happily agreed. After Lainey and Toni walked away, Will asked Liam, “Why do you do this to me?”

Sheila told Will that the girls seemed taken by him. Liam canceled the dessert, but Sheila insisted on boxing it up. “The girls appreciated the gesture,” Sheila said. “How’s this for a gesture? Check, please,” Liam said with an eye roll. Will told Liam, “You’re a family man, and I respect that. But I gotta say, you are the worst wingman I have ever seen.” Liam asked if showing pictures of his kids was a turnoff.
Will asked if Liam had dated anyone since splitting with Hope. Liam said he was too focused on work and kids for dating. Sheila stomped over and slammed the check on the table. Liam noted that Steffy was happy with Finn, but he said Hope was a different situation. “Maybe what split you up isn’t insurmountable anymore,” Will suggested.

Liam admitted that he missed Hope. Will suggested that Liam tell Hope how he felt. Will was hopeful that Liam and Hope could patch things up, but Liam said they had been through too much. Will told Liam to give it a shot.
Bodie brought Beth to the restaurant, and she hugged Liam and Will. Beth’s face lit up when Liam suggested he and Beth order a pizza and bring it to her mom at work.
Hope told Carter that she had not seen that kiss coming, but Carter said he had. “So, you weren’t just thinking about me modeling lingerie. You were thinking about kissing me, too?” Hope asked. Carter told her he was guilty as charged.
Carter said he had wanted to tell Hope many times how incredible she was. Hope said she had always felt she could tell Carter anything. Hope was blown away to know he thought of her more than a co-worker and friend.
“You had to have known how I felt. I couldn’t hide it that well,” Carter said. Hope and Carter continued their lists of compliments for one another. Carter told Hope that now was the time for a rebirth, like an emergence of who she really was. “Like the Logan rising from the ashes,” Hope agreed.
Hope said she had defined herself by who she didn’t want to be. Hope felt bad for disparaging her mother. Carter said Hope was an alluring, beautiful woman with a complicated history, but that was what made her special. “I guess what I’m saying is that I have hope for your future, and it’s a future I very much would like to share with you,” Carter added.
Finn’s meeting was canceled, so he went home early from work. He and Steffy reiterated how lucky they were to be together. Steffy said that she was happy her mom was in town. Steffy pointed out the joy in her life and said she was happy she could share it all with her hero, Finn.
Steffy recalled how she and Finn had met, and she had a flashback to waking up in the hospital. Steffy said the way Finn had said her name had been so compassionate that she had known he was the man she would spend the rest of her life with.
Steffy said that Finn gave her a sense of security she had never felt before. Finn agreed they were bonded on a cosmic level. “I know you’ll never let anything come between us or tear us apart,” Steffy said.
Finn and Steffy recalled Sheila’s attacks and how terrifying they had been. Steffy said it had only brought them closer. Steffy and Finn said they loved each other and cuddled on the couch.
Carter sent an email from a laptop in the office and saw a picture of Hope on the table. He fondly recalled kissing Hope and smiled.
Across the hall, Beth and Liam surprised Hope with a pizza. Hope was happy to see them, and they sat down to eat. Beth said it was like a family dinner, and she loved it when they were together. Liam agreed. Carter came in but stopped in his tracks when he saw them eating pizza. Liam offered Carter a slice, but Carter said he didn’t want to interrupt, as it looked like a family moment. Carter’s face fell as he watched them together, but Hope smiled at him sympathetically.
