Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke continued teaching How to Take No Responsibility 101 and got a new student: Carter. After repeating her scoldings to Ridge for not rehiring Hope post-coup, Carter walked into the classroom. Brooke leaped on that opportunity to point out that he was getting perks that Hope wasn’t and asked him point blank if he thought that was fair. Given another opportunity to champion for Hope, Carter was less than enthused to be put on the spot. Ridge reiterated that his decision-making was based on the fact that Carter knew what he did was wrong, and Hope did not. Although Carter reminded Ridge that he and Eric promised that Hope wouldn’t be punished, he also didn’t argue that she deserved to be. Carter hated that Hope felt betrayed and confirmed that she’d canceled him, just like her line. Not only did she dump him, but she wanted nothing to do with him. Interesting audience he picked there. Wasn’t that just confirming to Ridge that he was right about Hope? Anyway, Brooke lamented about poor Hope and how they’d all let her down, but Ridge dismissed the whining and said she’d bounce back. When shrugging it off didn’t work, Ridge decided he didn’t care if he flunked the class: He told Brooke to quit defending Hope around Forrester. Deacon didn’t get the memo, though — he showed up later, ready to fulfill his warning to Carter to never hurt his daughter. And now we wait for the B&B/Cobra Kai mash-up we deserve.
