Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Can you hear that? Somewhere in the distant hills of L.A., Bonnie Tyler is playing. Hope may have had her emotions come to a crescendo last week when she nearly struck her own mother across the face, but her sobbing a moment later and apologizing for all of the not-so-nice things she said apparently dried up with her tears. Fresh on the high heels of another mother-daughter showdown, Hope got in her car, cranked “Holding Out For A Hero,” and raced over to Il Giardino to get some sympathy from her dad instead. Deacon listened intently as Hope described how once again the Forresters screwed her over, and kept Carter as a prize. Not only was she fired again, but Carter had gone from her hero to zero by saying nothing in her defense and keeping his career intact. Deacon ranted how he’d like to smash Ridge’s face in and take on Carter in her defense, and Hope’s face lit up. She’d found her new hero; all was about to be right in the world again. As Katie comforted Brooke back at home, telling her that Hope was just hurt and that she’d soon realize that Brooke had always been her champion, Deacon was offering Hope to move into one of his apartments above the restaurant. And quicker than you can say ‘replacement,’ Brooke was out, and Deacon was in, and Hope had a new favorite to do her bidding.
