The Daily Y.A.P.P. for The Bold and the Beautiful, April 24: The biggest surprise guest at the fashion show

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, the Forrester Creations fashion show kicked off with Ridge recreating the first-ever B&B scene 38 years ago (cool touch!). Steffy had recovered from telling Liam he was going to die and was all smiles at the door, greeting people on the guest list. Except the guest list had been tinkered with. Katie seemed confused…why would Taylor be at the show? After all, she’s only living with Eric and Ridge (and Ivy, and Electra…and Zende? I think so). And she’s there for all the board meetings, even when she wasn’t with Ridge. She was even there when Hope got fired the first time, and the meeting a few weeks prior when Steffy saved HFTF, much to everyone’s surprise. But Taylor as a guest at the fashion show? How absurd! Granted, Taylor bumping into people was comical, and okay, so they needed a reason for Taylor to slam the dressing room door and confront Brooke, but the reason being that she was told she wasn’t welcome? Even if Brooke wanted to pull those punches, it just made no sense that Katie wouldn’t have expected to see Taylor’s name on the list. Even Eric acted as though it was a surprise to see his roommate at the place where she spends most of her time. Having Eric say something like he was hoping she wouldn’t be backstage, or asking Steffy to keep her out front, would have made more sense, but acting surprised she’d be there to support them all was a bit of a headscratcher.
