Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, it’s a whole new world for Carter. He’s got Daphne lingering near his lips, purring en français that she is ready, willing, and waiting for when he’s ready. Once again, he’s in a daydream at a desk, holding an employee press release in his hands and struggling with his feelings of lust. Then there’s that cut above his eye, a reminder from his ex’s daddy that it’s time to let go of any hope for the future with his daughter. But is Carter really being led by his nose — or even his heart, for that matter? He is filling his daydream time with flashbacks of Hope and snapping out of it by the lingering scents of Daphne. While he debates getting back the most recent love of his life or moving on with his next soulmate, the real question remains: Why is Carter doing all of his thinking in the design office? He made such a big deal about Brooke not having her own office as one of his reasons for the coup. Didn’t Carter fix that problem when he was the lifesaving CEO of Forrester? Where is the COO-slash-legal-beagle of the company’s office, or is he, like Brooke, still working on a laptop in the hallway? And if the hallway is the pop-up for offices, why does no one ever work at Pam’s desk? She’s never there, although there’s probably some fresh lemon bars stocked up in the drawer.
