On Wednesday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Finn has a surprise visitor to his office, Eric has a guest, and Ridge is shocked by Taylor.
Taylor returned for a reason
Taylor (Rebecca Budig) goes to Eric's (John McCook) house to talk to him privately, as they haven't had a chance to visit privately since her return to L.A.
When Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) interrupts, Eric leaves so Ridge can talk to Taylor. Ridge assumes that Taylor came to L.A. to visit her children and grandchildren, but he is surprised when he finds out her real reasons.
Before her return, fans saw Taylor spying on Ridge and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) in Monte Carlo. Watching the couple seemed to motivate Taylor to return to Los Angeles, but why was she stalking them? Ridge and Brooke being together was not news to Taylor. Is there something she knows that fans don't?
The doctor is in
After being upset that Ridge didn't have Hope's (Annika Noelle) back at the office, Brooke goes to Finn's (Tanner Novlan) office to talk. A lot has been going on in Finn's life, some of it due to Hope kissing him. Brooke has been talking to Hope about Hope's feelings for Finn and her seemingly relentless obsession with him.
With Taylor back in town, Brooke wants to even the playing field. Ridge and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) support Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and the numbers show Hope's line is suffering. Although she didn't cancel Hope For the Future, Steffy told Hope that it would be the end of the line if Hope continued pursuing Steffy's husband.
Brooke worries about Steffy's power over Hope at Forrester Creations and is concerned about Hope's compulsive behavior. Brooke makes a confession to Finn, but how much effect will it have on him? Will Brooke ask Finn to help Hope by staying away? Or can Brooke pressure him to influence Steffy in Hope's favor?
Liam and Steffy catch up
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) goes to Steffy's, and they bring each other up to date on the latest happenings. Liam recently gave Finn his nod of approval, and Steffy is confident that Finn has finally become her champion. Liam knows Finn has compromised his marriage in the past by not prioritizing it. Not long ago, Liam was willing to take Finn's place with Steffy but backed off that idea when Finn saved Steffy from Luna.
If Finn tries to help Hope, his marriage could implode. If Steffy senses that he is being Hope's hero instead of hers, this might be the last time. Would Liam still want to make Steffy happy instead?
