Since Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope’s (Annika Noelle) divorce, Hope has gone through a transformation. The usually-conservative good girl embraced her freedom and tried to have a casual relationship with Thomas (Matt Atkinson).

While Hope said she loved Thomas, she only wanted a friends-with-benefits relationship, and that relationship took a turn. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) convinced Thomas to take Douglas and move to France. The next time Hope saw Thomas, he was engaged.
Rejected, Hope had looked elsewhere for attention, namely from Steffy’s husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan). When Steffy and Liam discussed Hope kissing Finn, Liam said he didn’t know who Hope was anymore.
But recently, Hope apologized to Steffy and said that she wanted to get back to who she used to be. Hope said she wanted to set a good example for their daughters.
Liam and Hope seem to be trying to figure out their next steps in life. They have gone in different directions, but one common bond they have is their daughter, Beth (Jordyn Gracie).
On Wednesday, Liam and Hope reflect upon their relationship with Beth as their strong point.
Ridge weighs his options
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has a lot on his mind. He knows how devastated he was to learn that Taylor (Rebecca Budig) had been given a fatal diagnosis in Europe. For a moment, he thought she had heart failure. After a second opinion, Taylor has been told she has broken heart syndrome.
While Taylor is no longer dying, it’s still a serious condition, and she needs medical attention and support.
However, Taylor has sworn Ridge to secrecy, even from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Li (Naomi Matsuda) has assured Ridge that honoring his word with Taylor is the best thing he can do for Taylor at the moment, but Ridge isn’t so sure.
Ridge doesn’t like keeping secrets from Brooke—and it probably isn’t for the best when it concerns Taylor. But lying to Steffy is a whole other issue.
On Wednesday, Ridge has a hard time keeping Taylor’s secret from his daughter. Will he share Taylor’s diagnosis?
