The Bold and the Beautiful what-to-watch moments on Tuesday, October 1, 2024: Ridge is told that Taylor is dying

On The Bold and the Beautiful episode that airs on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Ridge is devastated by the news of Taylor’s health, while Brooke speaks to Steffy about Ridge’s commitment.

Ridge accompanies Taylor to the doctor

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is present at the doctor’s office for Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) consultation.

Taylor can’t hide the truth from him anymore, and Ridge is told of Taylor's prognosis.

Of course, Ridge is devastated by the news. But what will he do about it? He can’t fix Taylor, but he can get her all of the medical help possible.

In the meantime, there is no doubt that Ridge will be part of Taylor’s support system.

The question is, will he let Brooke in on Taylor’s secret, or will Brooke start to be concerned about the amount of attention that Ridge is giving Taylor? If Brooke knew of Taylor’s condition, she might offer to step out of the way.

Taylor’s doctor has a familiar face

When Taylor told Li (Naomi Matsuda) that she'd been told she was dying, Li referred her to a cardiologist to get a second opinion.

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Cassandra Creech reprises her role as Dr. Grace Buckingham.

Part of the Buckingham family, Grace is the mother of Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Paris (Diamond White), Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) fiancée.

Taylor is related to the children of both of her doctors, whom she has asked to keep her diagnosis private. But with Ridge present for her consultation, the rest of the family may soon know.

However, Taylor may be able to rely on Dr. Buckingham to be able to keep her privacy more than others.

Brooke claims her territory

With Taylor back in L.A., Hope (Annika Noelle) tried to gauge Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) interest in undermining Ridge and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) relationship. Steffy said she wouldn’t interfere but knew that Taylor would always love Ridge.

Of course, Steffy would rather see her parents back together, but that doesn’t mean she will manipulate the situation.

Meanwhile, Brooke and Taylor had a heart-to-heart conversation, and Brooke was confident that Taylor wasn’t in town to go after her man.

Brooke doesn’t really have a reason to stake her ground with Steffy if she is as confident as she claims. Still, on Tuesday, Brooke tells Steffy that Ridge is committed to their relationship and not interested in Steffy’s mom.
