After Taylor collapsed in front of Ridge, she admitted that she had been diagnosed with heart failure and was dying. Ridge took Taylor to the hospital for a second opinion from Dr. Buckingham, who ran some tests and determined that Taylor had been misdiagnosed. The doctor told Taylor she was suffering from broken heart syndrome instead. Taylor was embarrassed, but Ridge promised not to tell anyone and to be there for her. Carter suggested that Hope for the Future and Brooke’s Bedroom collaborate, with Hope modeling lingerie. Carter admitted he pictured Hope in lingerie, and he and Hope began flirting. Katie and Will discussed her potential reunion with Bill, and Will was against the idea. Katie told Bill that she was declining his proposal because he had hurt her too many times with Brooke. Bill shared his feelings with Brooke, who said she would try to get through to Katie. Will decided to move back to L.A. and took an internship at Forrester after some inspiration from the company’s models.
