After convincing Steffy and Ridge not to cancel HFTF, Carter invited Hope for a private celebration at his loft. He wanted to be intimate, but she pumped the brakes. Brooke discussed Hope with Deacon, and they both wished she had someone in her life that she could lean on. Carter brought Ivy and Electra to Forrester to ambush Steffy about revamping the jewelry line. She didn’t think the timing was right.

Meanwhile, Eric invited Ivy and Electra to stay at his house and said he would talk to Steffy on their behalf. Will bumped into Electra in the Forrester hallway, and she took his breath away. Ridge and Steffy wondered why Carter stopped caring about numbers and started caring so much about HFTF. Carter told Hope, Ivy, and Electra that Steffy made bad business decisions based on her personal feelings. Hope convinced Carter to share his vision for the company’s future with Steffy and Ridge. Eric, Brooke, and Zende were also in the meeting when Carter put his heart and soul into his pitch. Hope and Carter celebrated his presentation by steaming up the designer’s office but were interrupted by Brooke, who found them partially dressed on the desk.
