Will and Electra were happy to be working with one another and couldn’t stop smiling, although Lainey wasn’t as pleased about Electra’s arrival. Carter picked up Hope from Forrester after she was fired. He took her to Brooke’s and then to his place, where he swore his never-ending loyalty, and made love to her on his couch. The next morning, he promised to fight her battles and went to appeal her dismissal with Ridge and Steffy. The fallout from Hope’s firing rippled through the company. Katie argued with Steffy and Taylor about Hope. Eric thought Steffy made a personal decision firing Hope, but agreed with Ridge that HFTF needed to be cut. Hope told Brooke and Carter what really happened before Steffy found her in lingerie on top of Finn. Hope insisted that no one knew of her relationship with Carter. Brooke demanded that Ridge choose her over Steffy, but he would not. Zende took it hard that he was no longer HFTF’s lead designer, and Brooke and Hope told everyone that they weren’t appreciated by the Forresters. Carter told Steffy and Ridge that he wouldn’t allow them to fire Hope but Steffy reminded him it was a private company and they were the CEOs. Zende confronted Steffy about being collateral damage to HFTF. Bill received an apology letter from Luna, but he burned it in the fireplace. Poppy visited Luna in jail, and she pretended to show remorse. Luna was happy to know that Bill and Poppy had broken up. Carter demanded loyalty from Ridge but was disappointed by his reaction.
