Carter invited Daphne to lunch at Il Giardino, and she told him that she could tell that it was eating away at him that he lost his best friend at the cost of his success. Poppy sat at the bar, day drinking and lamenting to Sheila about her troubles with her daughter. Sheila could empathize and shared that she missed Finn, and because she couldn’t have a relationship with him, she couldn’t with her grandson, either. Later, Deacon warned Sheila not to let her emotions get the best of her and become obsessed (again about having a relationship with Fin and Hayes. At Bill’s, Remy figured out that Luna was the double murdering intern. Luna seemed pretty happy to be famous for all the wrong reasons. Remy admitted he had a past too that wasn’t too stellar, and the two bonded and decided to be secret friends. Finn told Steffy all the details about his affair with Poppy and that she got pregnant. At first, Steffy assumed the baby had been given up for adoption, but Finn dropped the bomb that the baby was Luna. Steffy was devastated. She worried that Finn would react the same way he did when he found out that Sheila was his birth mother and wanted to get to know her. Finn assured Steffy that he would put their family first. He begged Steffy not to leave him when she wondered how many more murderers her family tree could bear. Steffy wanted to run but decided to keep her vows. She told Finn that the difference between Sheila and Luna was that Luna was locked up for life, and they would never need to see or deal with her. Meanwhile, Ridge and Taylor discussed how happy they were that Finn and Steffy were in a good place after all they had been through and assumed they would never need to go through anything again like they had in the past. Later, when Taylor came to the cliff house, Steffy shared the devastating news. Taylor realized it was a huge emotional toll on Steffy and was concerned. Finn went to the prison and demanded to know where “his daughter” was. He later received an anonymous text with Bill’s address. Finn went to Bill’s, and Luna, thinking it was Remy, opened the door. She cried apologies for hurting him and Steffy and blamed her childhood. Finn hugged her and cried, saying that he didn’t know. The fragrance line launched, and it was a success. Zende pointed out to Hope that once again, she was the only one who wanted to celebrate. Daphne and Carter grew closer and more touchy-feely, and she tried to convince him to give the company back to Ridge and Steffy. Carter was amazed at how Daphne could see into his soul, and she noted that Hope didn’t want the same things for him. After Daphne told Carter how extraordinary he was a few more times, Hope walked into the CEO’s office and saw Carter and Daphne kissing.
