This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke and Ridge dealt with their blow-up separately. Ridge stayed at Steffy’s the first night and then went to Eric’s. Eric, Steffy, and Ridge met at Steffy’s to figure out how to get their company back. Zende joined them and announced that he had been offered the job of head designer but was turning it down so he could stand with them. They advised him to go back to work and be the eyes on the inside. Electra worried that Remy’s feelings were hurt since she and Will told him not to bother her at work. She tried texting Remy but got no response. Remy altered more pictures of Electra on his computer and emailed them to Katie. Will paid Remy a visit to his work and warned him not to mess things up for Electra at Forrester. When Katie received the photos, she asked Brooke to come to Forrester, and they fired Electra together. Ivy and Electra were upset, but they would only explain that Electra wasn’t a good fit for the company and didn’t tell them about the photos. Carter and Hope loved their new position of power and the chaos they’d caused. They celebrated by making love in the CEO’s office, then laughed about what Ridge would think if he knew what they did. Steffy, Eric, and Ridge decided that Carter didn’t know how to run the company as he wasn’t a designer and didn’t understand Forrester Creations’ mission statement. They also noted that since Hope ran her line into the ground, she couldn’t handle the whole company, either. They decided that if they just waited, Carter would see he was flailing and were sure that no one in the company could help them succeed. Carter asked Brooke to be the new CEO so he could concentrate on expanding the company into a global luxury brand. Brooke accepted the position and immediately made a live social media announcement of the new leadership. She said that Eric, Steffy, and Ridge were taking a leave of absence and that she was reinstating Hope and her line immediately. After the announcement, Zende called out Brooke for taking Hope and Carter’s side after what they did to his family. Brooke assured Zende that she felt the same way and confided she had a plan to get the company back for Ridge. Brooke said she was going to use the CEO position to get through to Carter to refile the LLC papers, and she wanted to reinstall Ridge and Steffy as co-CEOs. Zende was thrilled. Brooke went to tell Ridge the truth about her plan before he heard about her announcement from someone else. At the Forrester Mansion, Steffy, Ridge, and Eric were horrified at Brooke’s betrayal. Ridge realized that Brooke always does this, but he couldn’t blame her. He said he could only blame himself because no matter what she does, he forgives, forgets, and goes back for more. Ridge told Taylor that sometimes you need to hit rock bottom before you realize what you need is standing right in front of you. Taylor came up to check on Ridge in his bedroom at Eric’s. He told her he just wanted to love her. They kissed passionately and began to make love on the bed. Downstairs, Brooke was banging on the front door, wanting to talk to Ridge.
