The Bold and the Beautiful summary for the week of January 27, 2025

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge and Taylor supported Steffy when she was worried about Finn and his parents. She hoped they could find a way to forgive and reunite. Mostly, Steffy wanted Finn to experience the joy of having his parents back together as she did. At Il Giardino, Jack vented to Poppy about Li’s accusations and how she stabbed his arm twice with a needle to perform a DNA test. Jack felt bad that Li had mistreated Poppy for so long. He hoped that now that she knew that he and Poppy never had an affair, and Luna was not his daughter, that Li would keep her promise and make it up to her sister. Sheila let Jack know she still held resentment that he manipulated her into letting him and Li raise Finn, and she missed out on most of his life. She asked him to say hello to her son for her. Through Jack and Poppy’s conversation and Li and Finn’s, viewers learned that Poppy lived with the Finnegans when Finn was in his first year of college. Jack and Li weren’t home much as they were at work building their careers. Li lamented to Finn that although Li’s tests proved that Jack wasn’t the father, it didn’t solve the mystery of who that man was. I met Jack at Il Giardino, and they discussed their relationship. Jack said he would continue to apologize to Li about Sheila until she believed he regretted it. Luna and Bill continued to commiserate about their awful childhoods. Luna contended that she deserved to know the truth about her paternity and that Poppy shouldn’t have kept it a secret. Luna couldn’t find anything about Tom’s personality or physical features that were similar to hers. Luna was convinced that Tom Starr was not her father. Bill confided information to Luna about his mother. Bill said that when he met Poppy, there was something about her that reminded him of his mom, and not in a good way, and that was why he didn’t contact her after their one-night stand. Luna said Bill’s mom must be a compulsive liar, just like Poppy. Bill confided that he carried his childhood pain with him as an adult and could totally relate to Luna, and that was why he was determined to help her. Finn called Poppy to his office and asked her if he was Luna’s father. They recalled how close they had gotten and would sit on the house roof talking all night when she lived with his family. Poppy and Finn divulged that one night, they went to his room, and he lost his virginity to her. Finn noted that he was of age and adopted, and although she was his aunt, they hadn’t really known one another until he was a young adult. Finn demanded the truth. He said that Poppy told him he wasn’t the father back when she was pregnant with Luna, but he always wondered. He didn’t want to question it anymore and insisted he deserved to know. Poppy looked him in the eye and told Finn that he was not Luna’s father. Finn didn’t believe her and ordered the lab to bring him Luna’s blood and a DNA test. Ridge told Steffy and Daphne to keep it clean with their plan with Carter. Steffy warned him they intended to play dirty. Daphne was sure she would get the task done and was happy to help her friend get Forrester back. Daphne went to the office, and Carter was mesmerized. Daphne stroked Carter’s chest and ego as she talked to him, and Carter didn’t stop her. Poppy went to the prison to tell Luna about her father, but found out she wasn’t there.
