What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) has been laying on the charm as thick as she can with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for the last week or two. Carter seems to be responding, or is it just the allure of the perfume that has him so taken in? Whatever part of it is working, Daphne isn’t complaining. She’s got a mission, and it feels like it’s working.

However, Daphne is concerned that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter have a strong bond, and she won’t be able to break it. She has Carter’s attention when Hope isn’t around, but she seems to have the same sort of allure over Carter that Daphne does as soon as she is at his side.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), however, has a new tactic for Daphne to try: appeal to Carter’s sensibilities about the takeover and the guilt he has buried about it.

On Thursday, Carter clues in. He realizes that Daphne may have more than perfume in mind. Out of loyalty to Hope, will he back off? That might be a good time for Daphne to appeal to Carter in a new way. Or, does she feel her cover is blown?

Daphne and Steffy talk about their plan and what they have intended. But…Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) overhears part of Daphne and Steffy’s conversation. If Brooke only hears the part that Steffy wants to appeal to Carter about his guilt about the takeover, she may recognize the tactic. Brooke has been doing the same thing — and it’s working.

If Brooke knows that she and Steffy are on the same page, it could be the most unsuspecting duo to have Brooke and Steffy aligned on taking back the company. Surely, Brooke would consider working with Steffy a major way to show Ridge she’s sincere and has his best interests at heart. After all, getting the company back is part of Brooke’s plan to win back Ridge. However, if Brooke hears the part that Steffy wants to destroy Carter and Hope’s relationship, she might blow her and her plan out of the water.

Brooke walks in on Daphne and Carter in the CEO’s office on Thursday. Daphne is extremely close to Carter, and if anyone knows how to recognize a woman who is trying to attract a man, it’s Brooke Logan.

Will Brooke let Daphne work her charms for the bigger picture? Or will she cut her line short and send her packing?
