Taylor told Brooke that she was going to start listening to her heart and see where it led her. Taylor noted that this had always been Brooke’s mantra, so she should understand. Brooke asked if Taylor hoped her heart would lead her to Ridge.
“Is my heart leading me back to Ridge? Yes, it is,” Taylor admitted. Taylor explained that her heart was broken, and she thought she was going to die. She listed moments in her children's and grandchildren’s lives that she thought she would miss out on. “I thought there was no hope, but Ridge didn’t give up and made me want to fight,” Taylor said. “Ridge made you better,” Brooke agreed.
Taylor said she would always be grateful to Ridge for what he did. “That’s pretty powerful,” Brooke conceded. “I’m not going to lie. It feels like he truly saved my life,” Taylor added.
Brooke told Taylor that she was glad that her heart had healed. “But you would prefer that if I kept my distance from Ridge,” Taylor added. Brooke told Taylor that now that she was healed, she and Ridge could move on with their lives. Taylor said she had a full life, including her kids, grandkids, and Ridge.

Brooke reminded Taylor that she and Ridge were in a committed relationship, lived together, and were in love. “When I say that my heart is leading me back to Ridge, I’m talking about our shared history,” Taylor explained. Brooke acknowledged that Taylor and Ridge had a connection but noted that it resided in the past. “We will always love each other. Past, present, and future,” Taylor concluded. Brooke wasn’t sure how to take that; Taylor said it was just the truth. Taylor added that she was really happy with her life. Taylor explained that she was — for once in her life — able to love everyone else and give herself some grace as well. “I don’t need a man to fulfill me. So don’t worry, I’m not out to get Ridge back,” Taylor said. Brooke didn’t look so sure.
In the CEO’s office, Steffy told Ridge she knew he was in a bind between her and Brooke but that it meant the world to her that he was on her side. Ridge said he would always be on her side but noted that Brooke was defending her daughter.
Steffy said it was obvious what was in Taylor’s heart regarding Ridge and wanted to know how her dad felt. Ridge said he was just happy to have Taylor home. They talked about how remarkable Taylor was. Ridge fully agreed with all of Steffy's compliments about Taylor. Steffy suggested that Ridge tell Taylor how he felt.
Steffy and Ridge discussed Taylor’s condition and how she’s healing because of him. Ridge was humble, but Steffy said that what he did wasn’t small. Steffy told him that because he showed Taylor love, her heart healed.
Steffy noted that there wasn’t a day that she didn’t think about Phoebe. Ridge agreed that none of them recovered from losing Steffy’s twin. Steffy included that Taylor was broken when Phoebe died, but Ridge being with Brooke made it even worse. Steffy said that if she was being honest, she would note that Ridge broke Taylor’s heart but that Brooke did, too. “She broke our family so many times,” Steffy said.
Ridge said that Steffy couldn’t blame Brooke for everything. Steffy said that he was partially responsible for breaking Taylor’s heart, but he was fully responsible for healing it.
In the salon, Will and Electra brought jewelry for a photo shoot. Will showed Electra his phone with her front and center in the Forrester press release about the jewelry line. Electra got nervous, but Will said that Electra should be the face of the line. Electra pushed hard that Ivy should be in front of the camera and said she was happy working behind the scenes. Will and Electra were happy to be working together. Electra noted that there was a lot back home that she wanted to be getting away from. “I don’t mean to pry or anything like that, but what are you talking about?” Will asked.
Electra told Will she just wanted to stay focused on being where she was. They got the jewelry sorted and arranged, and Will tried to guess which piece would look good on Electra. He selected a bracelet and put it on her. He told her she was supposed to be in a photo shoot and thought she should wear it.
Electra balked and didn’t want to be in front of the camera. Will was surprised that she had never been approached to model. Will thought she had much to be excited about but was still concerned about what happened back home.
Electra turned the conversation to Will. He said that the private jets and luxury were important to his dad but not to him. Will told Electra that his parents split when he was young, and it was really messy, and he went to boarding school. “Long story short, my dad left my mother for her sister,” Will explained. Electra appreciated that he shared his personal life with her. Will told her that she could tell him anything.

Will told Electra that he wasn’t sure if he even wanted to work there, but now he got to see her every day. Will and Electra admitted that they felt connected since the moment they met. Will kissed Electra, and they got lost in the moment and then stared into one another’s eyes.
