The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Wednesday, January 22, 2025: Li stabs Jack

At Bill’s, Liam insisted on knowing why Bill was isolating himself and had extra security. He begged his dad to talk to him. “Am I right? Does this go back to what happened with Poppy and Luna?” Liam asked. He pointed out that Bill lost something he thought was his. “Is this about Luna?” Liam asked again.

Bill said he was trying to get past negative thinking. “Negative thinking?” Liam asked. He rattled off a list of all of Luna’s crimes and said he was glad she was in prison. Bill said he didn’t know how he felt. Liam reminded him that Luna had lived there, and he could still feel her energy in the house. He suggested Bill see Luna at the prison and get some closure.

Liam told Bill he knew he wasn’t a fan of sharing his feelings, but he knew that Bill wanted a daughter, and Luna’s tricking him about it really hurt. He thought that maybe a face-to-face meeting with Luna in prison could be cathartic. Bill said he’d think about it. Bill assured Liam he was grateful for the fuss he was making, but he was good and had everything under control. Bill ushered Liam out so he could get some work done.

As soon as Liam left, Luna came in. He told her that was a close call. Luna said it made her a little sad to hear Liam talk about how she hurt him about being her father. Bill reminded her that she had manufactured that scenario and that Tom Starr was her father.

Luna said she could only blame her childhood trauma so much and took full responsibility for her actions. She said she would never understand or forgive herself for the need to hurt so many people. “I couldn't be further from that person that I used to be,” Luna insisted. Bill admitted he could see a difference in her. Luna said his kindness and trust made her wish he were her father even more.

At the cliff house, Finn and Steffy continued talking about Finn’s parents. Finn said he realized he hadn’t dealt with their split and how it went down. Steffy admitted that her dad cheated a lot with Brooke over the years, and it took a lot to get over, even if Taylor and Ridge still loved one another. She held out hope that if her parents could reunite, then his parents might as well.

Finn said it was hard to look his dad in the eye, knowing how much he had hurt his mom. Steffy said she hated to ask it but wondered if Jack had other affairs than the one he'd had with Sheila. Finn hoped that his dad never cheated with someone else, but he wouldn’t be surprised if he did.

At Li’s office, she asked Jack and Poppy again if they had an affair, and if Jack was Luna’s father. Jack and Poppy insisted that they had never been together. Jack said there was no way for him to be Luna’s father. Li told him that he did cheat during their marriage, and one affair resulted in a love child. She said it happened again because he slept with her sister.

Li demanded to know who Luna’s father was if it wasn’t Jack. She didn’t believe anything Jack and Poppy said. She recounted how Poppy had moved in with them and paraded herself around. Li said she was at work for 24-hour shifts at the time, and they were home alone with Finn every night. Jack told her that he was busy then, too, with his law practice and continued denying that anything had ever happened with her sister. Li told them that today they were going to find out the truth.

Jack admitted he thought Li called him over because she’d softened up and missed him but walked into an ambush instead. “As much as I love my niece, there is no way I could have conceived a child with Poppy,” Jack told her. Poppy backed him up and said they had never slept together and that they wouldn’t have done that to her. Li didn’t believe them and said they would find out whether they liked it or not.

Poppy asked if that was why Li hated her all her adult life and Li snidely said she'd had her suspicions. Jack had heard enough and said he was leaving. Li told him to sit down and roll up his sleeve. Instead of explaining why, she took a needle and stabbed him roughly ihn the arm with a needle. Jack yelled out in pain. “Oh, did I miss the vein? Let me try again,” Li snarled. She drew his blood and told Jack and Poppy that she was going to run a DNA test to find out if he was Luna’s father.
