At the cabin, Brooke told Hope that what Carter did was wrong. Hope clarified that Carter didn’t do it alone and supported the decision from the start. Brooke shared that Ridge was heartbroken and devastated. Hope didn’t care, which concerned Brooke. Hope said she was concerned, but only for Carter because Ridge fired him.

Brooke thought Hope should have known that it wasn’t going to end well for anybody. “Can you admit that Carter is the kind of leadership that Forrester needs?” Hope asked. “Not if he has to steal the position away from Steffy and Ridge,” Brooke responded. Hope dismissed her answer with a wave of her hand. She noted that other people had run the company before and thought things needed a shake-up. Brooke said she was worried about Hope, and it disturbed her that Hope was talking the way that she was.

Brooke was concerned that Hope had put herself in a bad position. Hope wondered why Brooke told Ridge what they were planning if she was so upset about it. Brooke wanted to put a stop to it before it went too far. She shared that Ridge blamed Hope for turning Carter against him and the company.

Brooke explained that Carter had changed and had done something unthinkable, so Ridge was trying to figure out why. Hope said she was wronged and Ridge and Steffy were trying to find a scapegoat. Hope was embroiled, and accused Ridge of acting like Steffy, and said he was determined to make Hope the villain. Before leaving for work, Brooke assured Hope that she wasn’t going to let Ridge and Steffy do that. However, she thought that what Carter and Hope did was wrong, hurtful, and misguided.

In the design office, Will updated Katie on how the internship was going. Katie thought he enjoyed it because of Electra, who walked in as she said her name. Katie said the marketing campaign was ready to go as soon as the jewelry line was ready to launch. Electra noted that she had been spending time with Will and had run into an old friend from back home.

Katie asked for details, so Electra shared how she ran into Remy. She admitted it reminded her of something she was trying to leave behind. She said she came to L.A. to move on and start fresh. Electra was grateful for the opportunity. She asked for the lunch raincheck that he had promised her, and they left.

At Il Giardino, Remy looked at a picture of Electra on his phone. Sheila came to the bar and talked to him. He thanked her for the job and said he needed it to keep him in L.A. Sheila wondered what brought Remy to California. He shared that he missed someone from back home who had moved to L.A., and he wanted a chance to reconnect.

Remy said the girl he was in awe of was worth the move and said he would do just about anything to be close to her. After Sheila walked away, he looked at Electra’s photo again.

Will and Electra came into the restaurant. Sheila sat them at a table and said her new server would be there in a moment. Remy came to the table a,nd Electra introduced them. Will noted it was good to meet the fabled friend from back home. Remy agreed that Electra had been part of his life for a long time.

Remy said he was blown away by Electra’s success with the jewelry line and said he’d been following her career. “And now you’re here,” Will mused. Electra thought it was great that she would be able to see Remy at their favorite pizza place. Will watched intently as Remy stared at Electra and smiled.

After getting a text from Ridge, Steffy came to the CEO's office at Forrester. “Carter is no longer with this company,” Ridge told her. Ridge clarified that he fired Carter, and Steffy was shocked. Ridge explained that Carter deceived them, tried to pull a fast one, and wanted to take the company from them.

Ridge explained that the LLC papers were a trap. Steffy realized that Carter named himself the manager of the LLC, which put him in charge of Forrester. Ridge called it Carter’s last act as COO before he got fired.

Steffy was even more shocked when Ridge revealed that Carter and Hope were romantically involved. Now, it all made sense to her why Carter was acting differently, and she knew that Hope had somehow influenced him. Steffy and Ridge agreed that Carter was delusional if he thought he was in love with Hope and thought that she was just using him to save her job and HFTF.

Steffy said that Hope pushed Finn to connect with Sheila, led Thomas on for months, and manipulated them and Carter to follow her self-serving advice. “She made Carter think she was a victim, and he fell for it because he is naturally compassionate. This is all Hope’s fault,” Steffy concluded.

Steffy said that this was a Logan move. “If there’s an advantage, no matter how shady, they’re going ot take it,” Steffy added, noting that Carter should have known better. Ridge shared he was hurt and had trusted Carter. “I never once questioned his loyalty,” Ridge told Steffy. Steffy felt bad for her dad but was sure that it was all because of Hope.

Ridge called Justin and wanted an update as soon as he could give one. He said he just wanted it all taken care of so he could close the book on it.

Hope heard the door open and assumed it was Carter, but it was Steffy. “You don’t knock?” she asked. “So it’s okay to ambush me and my father, but I can’t do the same to you?” Steffy asked. Steffy told Hope she knew everything from her and Carter’s relationship to their coup. Hope told Steffy she had some nerve barging in when Steffy was the catalyst for it all. Steffy said that Hope did not get to take the high road.

Hope reminded Steffy that she thought Hope was going after Finn, but now she knew the truth. “You were seducing Carter. Oh, I know. You used him to save your line,” Steffy accused. Steffy told Hope that Carter thought he loved her and had just thrown away his career to defend her. “He is trying to do what is right, which is bring leadership to Forrester that actually considers merit and fairness and try to steer the company away from your petty tyranny,” Hope sneered.

Steffy argued that Hope turned Carter against them, but Hope thought he was just supporting her. Steffy told Hope that she poisoned Carter against the company, their family, and his best friend. “He gave up all of his principles for you. How do you even live with yourself? After everything you did to Thomas, the trouble that you caused in my marriage? I really didn’t think it would get worse, but it did. You’re here to cause more damage. That is all you do,” Steffy snapped.

Hope bellowed that she and Carter did not want it to come to this, but they wouldn’t listen. She said that Steffy always looked at them like they were second-class citizens, and they finally decided to push back. “Well, you failed. All you did was destroy a good man. Carter’s reputation, friendships, and the career that he loves. You are disgusting! You are toxic! Look at what you did to my brother, and then you set your sights on Finn. And now Carter?” Steffy barked emotionally. She added that Hope had shown her true colors and Steffy knew exactly who Hope was. “You’re done. You’re finished. You will never be part of Forrester Creations again,” she fumed.
