Katie came to Brooke’s and saw tears brimming in her eyes. Katie offered to have Christmas at her house instead, but Brooke told her this was what she needed. She said she couldn’t believe she’d lost Ridge that way, but Katie could understand him being upset at her taking the CEO position. Brooke said she just wished she could have explained to him why she did it.
Brooke admitted to Katie that she had a secret plan to get the company back for Ridge. Brooke cried that her plan backfired, and the last thing she expected was Ridge to immediately turn to Taylor. Bridget arrived and said she left New York the second she heard she and Ridge had broken up. Bridget was trying to get up to speed on the takeover when Carter and Hope walked in.
Katie told everyone that Donna had sent presents over for them all. Hope gave Brooke a drawing from Beth, who was spending the day with her dad. As everyone went to get a drink and appetizers, Hope told Brooke she hadn’t meant to drive Ridge and Brooke apart. Carter called Hope over to taste the wine.
Quietly, Katie asked about Brooke’s plan. She told her that she thought she would have been able to get through to Carter. “You really didn’t tell Ridge your plan?” Katie asked. Brooke said she didn’t have the chance to, but she was not giving up on him.

Hope told Carter she made a list last year and he was on it. She said she manifested a sweet, caring, sexy man but didn’t realize it would be him. Carter thought it proved timing was everything, and there’s someone for everyone. They stood in the corner kissing while Carter held mistletoe over them.
Across the room, Bridget gasped. Katie and Brooke confirmed that Carter and Hope. Bridget was taken aback and said everything made more sense now. “Like the whole takeover and…wow,” Bridget said, mindblown.
Everyone began singing Deck the Halls together, but Brooke wandered off to text Ridge and wish him a Merry Christmas. “I’m going to make this right, Ridge,” Brooke said to herself. “By Christmas next year, we will be together,” she added, crying. She had a flashback to being under the mistletoe with Ridge.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge told his dad he was going to try not to think about Brooke’s betrayal and enjoy the holiday but then immediately started recounting what happened. Zende arrived, and Steffy and Finn joined them, along with Donna and Pam. Everyone was in great spirits when Taylor walked in. Steffy noticed a warm smile between her parents.
Pam was laughing about her Secret Santa gift and couldn’t wait for the recipient to open it. Taylor privately gave Ridge a pen of his that she’d boxed away. She told him that he’d once written the most romantic note with that pen and thought maybe he’d be inspired to do it again.
Pam and Donna opened matching pajamas and bonded over a memory of Stephanie. Donna asked if Pam thought of her like a sister but Pam said she wouldn’t go that far. Across the room, Ridge asked Zende how it was going working for his new CEO. Eric wondered what the hell Brooke was thinking. Zende said nothing about Brooke’s plan.
Ridge told everyone that they would worry about the other stuff tomorrow, but this day was about family. “Hear, hear!” Zende toasted, and everyone else joined in. Steffy and Finn had a private moment of appreciation for one another. Steffy saw Ridge telling Taylor that he was really glad that she was there. “This looks really promising,” Steffy said hopefully. Ridge started to laugh. “I’ve been saying it for years. You two are so good together. I’m really happy for this moment,” Steffy told her parents as they embraced.
Steffy gave a speech about family and said it felt like there was extra magic in the air. Ridge and Taylor gave each other a warm glance. Ridge got a text and read it: “Thinking of you and wishing you a Merry Christmas XO.”
Steffy found Ridge lost in thought and asked what he was doing by himself. She invited him back to the group in the living room as Zende gave a speech about the significance of the night. Taylor agreed and added her own thoughts on compassion and kindness. She said the vibe they were feeling in the room was love. “And the world needs more of it,” she added.
Eric said he couldn’t agree more and said that the love he felt from everyone made him so proud to be part of the family. “We’re more than a family here and I want us to remember that. We’re Forresters. And I want us to carry that forward in this new year,” Eric said. He added that with love and sticking together, there was nothing they couldn’t do. Eric played the piano as everyone sang We Wish You A Merry Christmas together playfully.
The scene then changed to Bradley Bell surrounded by the cast and crew in the Forrester living room. “From our family to yours,” Bell said, with everyone joining in to exclaim, “Happy Holidays!”
