In the design office, Katie was surprised to see Will. He was astonished that Hope had been fired, but Katie didn’t think it was a big deal. “I’ll tell you what I told Hope,” Katie soothed, then explained how Steffy was upset and overreacted, but it would calm down, and Hope wouldn't be let go, especially once word got to Ridge. “No, Mom, Ridge knows. He was there when Hope was escorted away,” Will told her.
Will continued by saying that Hope was definitely fired and banned from the building. “It’s the buzz all around Forrester,” Will said. When Will gave her all the details that he knew, Katie was shocked.
Katie said she had to talk to Ridge and explain that Hope had just tripped and landed on Finn and wasn’t trying to seduce him. She wondered if Ridge and Steffy gave Hope a chance to explain herself. Katie said she’d get to the bottom of it and left the office.
Will started to text someone as he walked out, but when he opened the office door, he bumped into Electra again. She apologized for not watching where she was going. “That’s okay, I like bumping into you,” Will said with a smile.

Electra happily announced to Will that she and Ivy were officially hired to reboot the jewelry line. Will thought it was fantastic that he and Electra would be seeing more of each other at the office.
Electra noted that Ivy had said they could use some help from the interns. “You can count on me. I’m liking Forrester more and more,” Will said, and Electra agreed.
Carter was upset that Steffy hadn’t consulted with Brooke first. Ridge texted Brooke and said he wanted to talk to her in person. Ridge messaged again to confirm he was on his way home, and Carter said he wanted to have a few words with his friend when he got there. Brooke asked them to let her handle Ridge, as she worried that too many people there could get confrontational. Hope and Carter agreed but made her promise not to tell Ridge the truth about them being romantically involved.
In the CEO’s office, Ridge confirmed to Steffy and Taylor that Brooke was home and he was going to go over there. “Do not let her manipulate you. Her daughter disrespected our daughter’s marriage,” Taylor reminded him. Steffy added that Hope deserved to be fired and hoped she would continue to have her dad’s support on it.
After Ridge left, Taylor and Steffy hoped he would stay strong. Katie walked into the office and threw her hands up when she saw Steffy and Taylor. “Where’s Ridge? I have to talk to your father about what you did,” Katie said to Steffy. “What she did?” Taylor asked. Katie said she wouldn’t waste her time trying to reason with the two of them as they had clouded judgment.
“Was it some sort of accident? She just happened to be in lingerie and fell on top of my husband?” Steffy asked Katie. Steffy told Katie that Ridge already heard that excuse. Katie told Steffy that she had no right to fire Hope, but Steffy said she ran the company with Ridge, and they did have the right to do what they did, and it was warranted.
“This is why I didn’t want to talk to the two of you. You’re too angry to understand what really happened,” Katie scoffed. Taylor wondered if Katie wouldn’t be angry if she saw what Hope had done. Steffy assured Katie of what she saw and said she understood it perfectly.
“Come on, you know Hope and her values,” Katie said. “We know all about Hope and her values,” Taylor retorted. Taylor reminded Katie how Hope toyed with Thomas’ emotions, and Steffy chimed in about how Hope went after Finn. “I don’t think you know who she is,” Steffy concluded. She firmly told Katie that there was no hope for Hope’s future.
Ridge came home, and Brooke told him she knew what had happened. “Steffy fired Hope, and it’s ridiculous. You won’t allow that, right?” she asked. Brooke could understand Steffy lashing out but hoped it did not go down the way that Hope described. “Hope told me that you didn’t do anything to stop it and told her to leave the building. I can’t imagine that you would do that. I don’t want to believe you would allow your daughter to degrade Hope that way,” Brooke said.
Ridge said he was in shock and didn’t expect any of this. “So Hope is wrong, and you did not fire her,” Brooke confirmed. “I did not, that was Steffy,” Ridge agreed, adding, “I did ask her to leave the building. She gave me no choice.”
Carter brought Hope home to his loft. “Steffy won’t get away with this,” Carter said. He hoped that Brooke would get through to Ridge but promised if Brooke didn’t, Carter would. “There is no way I’m letting Steffy do this to you,” Carter added.
Hope noted how livid Steffy was, but Carter said that Steffy would only jump to conclusions. Carter said he might be able to understand how Steffy misunderstood but not how Ridge allowed Hope to be humiliated.
Carter wished he had been there to stop it and promised not to allow the Forresters to disrespect the Logans anymore. “It’s their company; they get to call the shots, they get to do whatever they want,” Hope cried. “I don’t care,” Carter said. Something has to be done.”
Carter declared himself and the Logans Forrester outsiders. Hope was sure many people at Forrester felt underappreciated. She referenced his idea for expanding the company and wondered if they were giving his idea the same amount of consideration as they would one of their own.
Hope said she believed in Carter’s vision but ranted that her voice never mattered. She noted that she was just like her mom. “Sure, she got a seat at the executive table, but how much power does she have?” Hope said, “Ridge and Steffy are in control. Even you don’t get a say, and you’re COO.”
Carter lamented that the Forresters say he’s like family, but Eric brushed him off, and Steffy barely acknowledged that he had made a pitch. Hope told Carter that he deserved to be heard and they needed to take action and do something about it. “Make no mistake, Hope. We will definitely take action,” Carter said ominously.
“So you supported Steffy in this? You kicked Hope out before she could explain,” Brooke said. “Explain what? Why did she want to seduce my daughter’s husband? How do you explain that? You know what she did, so you can’t blame Steffy for what she did,” Ridge pointed out that Hope was told to stay away, and instead, she dressed up in lingerie. Brooke said she knew that was what it looked like, but it wasn’t how it was. “That’s what it was, and that’s what Steffy saw. She can’t keep doing this,” Ridge implored. He said he understood that Brooke wanted to defend her kid, but he couldn’t because Hope had gone too far. “Ridge, you don’t understand. You're wrong about this. You’re wrong,” Brooke told him.
Carter told Hope he felt terrible for everything she’d been through for years. He couldn’t understand how Ridge just allowed Steffy to get away with the worst behavior. Carter thought that Brooke had brought so much to Forrester but treated her as if she was inferior. He regretted not being there to stop Hope’s firing.
Hope assured Carter that he was there when she needed him most and that he was a good man. She told him she was thankful that she had finally found someone like him, and then they kissed.
