In the CEO’s office, Steffy updated Eric and Ridge that it was time to move forward, and she spoke to Katie about the press release about Hope’s termination. Eric thought it was all moving too fast and asked Ridge for his opinion. Ridge was distracted and said he didn’t think they needed to make a decision immediately. Ridge said he had to go look into something and left.
Eric and Steffy continued talking about the situation and how Zende felt discouraged. Steffy assured her grandfather that they would continue to use Zende’s talents and said he had a bright future. Katie begrudgingly gave Steffy the press release to review. Katie’s eyes lit up, and she gripped Eric’s arm in hope when he said that he thought it should wait.
Katie pushed for waiting to put off doing the press release. She reiterated to Eric that it was all a misunderstanding. Steffy said that she wanted the release to be clear that Hope was terminated, not retired, and then they could move on.
Katie said she wasn’t trying to question Steffy’s authority but bitterly asked what was the rush. “You’re the one who wants the press to talk about something else,” Steffy said. Eric noted that they should take more time to consider the ramifications. Steffy thought it was time to move on. She handed Katie the press release and told her to send it to Hope, so she wasn’t blindsided.

Steffy acknowledged that it was hard for Eric and Katie but reiterated that the line was done and it was time to send out the press release. Steffy thought announcing the line was done allowed them to control the narrative, while Katie thought it would cause more questions. Steffy reminded her that they announce the end of lines but don’t comment on past employees, such as Hope.
Ridge went to Steffy and Finn’s house to talk to his son-in-law. He told Finn he wanted some clarification about what happened with Hope. Finn told Ridge that Hope’s behavior had to be dealt with. Ridge wondered if it was necessary to fire Hope. Ridge agreed with Finn that there was no excuse for Hope’s behavior, but he noted there was also no explanation. “Are you sure she was coming onto you?” Ridge asked.
Finn recounted how Hope fell onto him wearing lingerie. Ridge said that Brooke insisted that they were wrong about the situation, and if there was any truth to that, he wanted to know before the press release went out.
Ridge wondered if Hope really came onto Finn. “All I can tell you is what happened, okay? I’m not a mind reader, and I don’t know what Hope is thinking,” Finn said. Ridge was sure that he and Brooke would be fine, but the company faced a scandal. “This is big, and it could change our company forever,” Ridge added.
Electra and Will couldn’t stop kissing and telling each other how interested they were in one another in the design office. Ivy entered the office and smiled when she saw them together. She told Will that she had been hearing a lot about him.
“Oh boy, you have got it bad for that boy,” Ivy said with a laugh. “Can you blame me?” Electra asked. Ivy told her that she knew how charming the Spencer men could be and noted that Will clearly felt the same way for Electra. “I just don’t want to mess it up. My past could ruin everything,” Electra said.
Carter and Hope look at the formation papers with Carter’s signature, naming him the manager of Forrester Creations. “This document changes everything,” Hope said as she took her hand off Carter’s, and he put down the pen he used to sign his name. Hope tells Carter he is exactly what the company needs to move forward. Carter reminds her that the next step is to get Ridge and Steffy’s signatures on the document.
Hope dreamily reiterated that Carter would soon be in charge of the company. Carter told Hope they needed to be realistic about what the takeover would mean. “We’d be starting a revolution,” Carter said. Hope and Carter noted that it was a family business, but there was a time when they felt like part of the family. “Are we really doing this?” Carter asked.
Hope acknowledged that Carter was the one taking the risk. “My time at Forrester is over. Yours isn’t,” Hope said. Carter pouted that no one there listened to him. He said that as COO, he couldn’t do anything, but as manager of the new LLC, he would have full control and stop them from punishing Hope.
Hope told Carter how frustrating it was for her to see him being disrespected at the company. Carter said that Steffy was the problem and that she had lost perspective. He told Hope that she inspired the world and the global conscience. He said he wouldn’t allow Steffy to hurt Hope and the Logans anymore. Hope held up the paperwork and said that it was the key to securing their futures. “We just need Ridge and Steffy’s signatures,” Hope added.
Carter said the timing was right, but if he was going to take over the company, he needed her by his side. They repeated how Carter’s idea for a global luxury brand was overlooked and how Hope was fired. Carter said the Logans deserved to be appreciated by the Forresters. “Carter Walton, taking up for the underdogs,” Hope said. She told him how much it meant to her that he saw her worth.
Hope was taken aback when she received the press release from Katie. “The collaboration between Hope Logan and Forrester Creations has reached its conclusion. The Hope for the Future line has ceased production, and its design team will transfer to other projects within the company, but its creator, Hope Logan, is moving on from Forrester Creations. We wish her well in her future endeavors,” Hope cried as she read it. Carter told her it wasn’t even close to being over.
Hope grabbed the paperwork and held it out to Carter. “Forrester Creations deserves a leader with a heart, worthy of its legacy, devoted to the future, and ready to take the company to new heights. Carter, there has to be a change. A new era. Carter Walton, head of Forrester Creations. And I will be standing there, right by your side,” Hope gushed. “Let’s do it,” Carter agreed enthusiastically. “Let’s do it today,” Hope said before kissing him.
