Deacon arrived at Il Giardino, surprised at how well-decorated it was. Sheila, dressed as a witch, asked if he liked it. Deacon said he didn’t know what he got himself into when he agreed to “some” decorations. He asked her to lose the axe and severed head decorations, as some patrons would find them less than appetizing. “Frightening, isn’t it?” Deacon asked. “Yeah, she sure is,” Carter mused.

Deacon told Carter that he wanted to talk to him. “I heard there’s been something going between you and my daughter,” Deacon said. Carter clarified that Deacon meant he was concerned about Hope because of all of the flak she got from Steffy. “I want to be there for her. She lives and breathes her line and wants to make the world a better place,” Carter told him. “Brooke’s right, you are in our girl’s corner,” Deacon said.

Sheila continued bringing Halloween-themed drinks and appetizers while Deacon and Carter talked about Hope and her bad luck. Deacon noted that Hope seemed upbeat lately, and whatever caused it, he wanted it to continue. Carter promised to always take care of Brooke and Hope. He told Deacon that great things were coming to Forrester and that he wanted Hope to be part of it.

Hope sat at the design office desk and flashed back to looking at lingerie with Carter earlier. She recalled telling Carter she might do a modeling session for him. Hope went to the new collection, looked through the items, grabbed one, and ran behind the changing screen.

As Hope put on the lingerie behind the screen, Finn came in with Steffy’s tablet and went to the desk to write a note. Hearing someone come in, Hope said, “Lock the door. I’ve been waiting for you.” She came from behind the screen and tripped, falling onto Finn. As Steffy walked in, she saw Finn pinned down on the desk and Hope on top of him in lingerie. “Hope, get off my husband right now!” Steffy bellowed, “You’re trying to seduce him yet again! What are you thinking?!”

Finn immediately explained that he had no idea what Hope was doing. Steffy told Finn that she knew he had nothing to do with it and that it was all Hope. “Obviously, my husband and marriage are still fair game to you,” Steffy told Hope. Hope told Steffy that she had it all wrong. “The hell I do,” Steffy said.

Steffy wondered if Hope took her for an idiot. She warned Hope not to say she was mistaken about what she walked into. Hope insisted it was a misunderstanding. “This is so on-brand for a Logan. You in lingerie throwing yourself at my husband,” Steffy snapped. Hope insisted it wasn’t what it looked like. “Why are you wearing lingerie? If not for Finn, then who?” Steffy asked.

Hope insisted she wasn’t trying to seduce Finn but wouldn’t tell Steffy who she was dressed for. Steffy asked a few more times to give her another explanation other than how it looked, but Hope wouldn’t tell her. “I’ve given you a chance to come clean, and you won’t give me a name because you can’t. There is no one,” Steffy said. Hope still stayed silent. Steffy told Hope that her pathetic play for Finn was what Brooke did for years to Taylor, but Steffy said she wouldn’t put up with it. “You’re done. I want you gone today,” Steffy told Hope.

Hope was shocked. "You want me gone?" Hope asked. Hope said Steffy hadn't given her the chance to explain and that she couldn't do this. Steffy reminded Hope that she ran the company. Steffy said she should have fired Hope when she first made a play for Finn. "You’re not listening to me," Hope cried. "I'm done listening. You’re fired. Pack your things. Now," Steffy barked.

Taylor and Ridge discussed Carter’s pitch in the CEO's office. Ridge believed in Carter and trusted his judgment but didn’t understand why he was pushing for such a big change. Taylor said it seemed like Carter was in Hope’s corner. Brooke overheard them talking as she entered the office. She agreed about Carter and said having someone else defend Hope for once was a nice change.

Taylor and Brooke began to argue about Hope kissing Finn. Taylor could understand why Steffy didn’t trust Hope. Brooke insisted that if Steffy let down her guard, she would see that there was nothing to worry about as Hope no longer wanted Finn.

Brooke explained that Hope had been confused after Thomas walked away from her. Taylor reminded Brooke that Thomas had not walked away; he wanted to marry Hope, but she rejected him. Brooke agreed but said that Hope wasn’t ready for marriage. Taylor clapped back, saying that after Thomas left, Hope had gone after a married man. Brooke insisted again that Hope was no longer interested in Finn.

Brooke said it was different now as Hope had worked through her confusion and was focused on her line and Beth. Taylor asked if that meant that Hope was too busy for extracurricular activities. “She won’t touch Finn again,” Brooke said.

Brooke left Taylor and Ridge and continued discussing Hope and Steffy. Taylor reminded Ridge that Hope’s behavior had been erratic for quite some time. She suggested this might just be a lull before Hope tried to make another move on Finn. Taylor wondered if they were just supposed to take Brooke’s word for it that Hope wouldn't make another play for Finn. Ridge noted that Brooke knew her daughter.

Steffy came in, upset, and said, “I’m so done with her!” Her parents asked what was wrong. “I just walked into the design office, and Hope was in lingerie on top of my husband!” Ridge and Taylor were shocked. Steffy explained that Finn was innocent and just as outraged as she was.

“I’ve had it with her. She’s sick!” Steffy exclaimed. Ridge asked how Hope explained herself. Steffy told them that Hope claimed it was an accident. Steffy said that she fired Hope. “I’m going to need you to back me up on this, Dad. I’m going to need your support,” Steffy told Ridge.
