At the Forrester mansion, Zende, Daphne, Eric, and Ridge talked about Forrester. Ridge and Daphne agreed that Carter was finally waking up to the idea that Hope had brainwashed him. Daphne confirmed that Carter was still the same man they once knew and respected, and he missed them. Zende suggested they get to the office. Before leaving, Daphne told Eric and Ridge that once Hope lost her hold on Carter, she would see their friend and company returned to them.

Once alone, Ridge assured Eric that Carter was rethinking the takeover. He suggested they watch the fragrance launch together instead of stressing about the future of the company. Eric knew the fragrance line would be a hit and would make the company a lot of money. “Look at me. I’m rooting against my own team,” he lamented.

Ridge told Eric to feel relieved that the fragrance line was a success because it meant that when they took over the company, it wouldn’t be a complete wreck. “What if it is?” Eric asked. Ridge was sure it wouldn’t be because the days of Hope and Carter at Forrester were numbered.

In the CEO’s office, Carter was recalling the conversation with Ridge when he told him he missed him. Hope interrupted and quizzically asked what he was lost in thought about. She thought he’d be excited about the countdown to the fragrance launch. Hope wondered where Daphne was.

Daphne and Zende came in, and Hope was relieved. Carter and Zende listed all the departments that were on standby. “So we’re all here?” Daphne asked. “Everyone’s here that wants to be here,” Carter lamented. Daphne assured him that if the launch succeeded, “who knows what could happen.” Hope was giddy but for a different reason, as Daphne and Carter gave each other knowing looks.

As the product launched, Hope watched the computer. She gasped that initial sales were crushing projections. “You wanted a hit. That’s what I gave you,” Daphne sniffed. Zende shared that they made the business news, which surprised Carter. Hope quoted online reports that called the collaboration “inspired” and “brilliant.” Hope reminded Carter that the jewelry line's success wasn’t a one-off and that the fragrance launch proved it. She said that Ridge and Eric didn’t share his vision, and they were right to take over the company. Carter smiled and nodded but then looked at Daphne.

Zende congratulated Daphne on the launch. Hope chimed in that Forrester was being lauded in the industry. “Our success is being celebrated across the globe,” she added. She credited Carter’s ideas and leadership. Zende said they had to get to a Hope for the Future meeting, so Hope kissed Carter goodbye and said they would celebrate later. Once alone, Daphne noted that Carter should have been on top of the world but again didn’t want to celebrate. She told him she cared about him and offered to listen.

At the cliff house, Steffy assured Finn that they got through the chaos of Sheila and they would do the same with Luna. He told her he had something to take care of but said she was his entire world. After he left, Steffy recalled their conversation as she sorted laundry. She had a flashback to Finn revealing that Luna was his daughter. Taylor had entered the room and asked her what was wrong.

Steffy said that she had bad news and that there had been a very unwelcome addition to their family. Steffy explained that Finn was distracted, and she finally got it out of him. Steffy told the story about Finn being taken advantage of by an older woman who took his virginity when he was 18. Steffy admitted the woman was Poppy, but that news wasn’t the worst of it.

Meanwhile, Finn went to the prison and wanted to see Luna. He told the warden he wasn’t taking no for an answer. He was told again that Luna was incarcerated, but not there. Finn told him to find someone who was authorized to give him the information of her whereabouts. “I’m her father,” he added. The warden was confused as Luna was convicted of killing her father. Finn explained that he was Luna’s father and she needed to be told. “Not in a letter, not in a phone call. Do you understand? I need to see her!” Finn told him. The man shared that Luna was under house arrest. He feared he’d already said too much and walked out.

Finn went back to his office and tried to search online to find information about Luna’s prison transfer, to no avail. He received a text from an unknown number. It read, “Your daughter’s being held at 3197 Holden Drive, Bel Air, CA 90077.” Finn looked up the address and saw that it was Bill Spencer’s house.

At the Spencer mansion, Luna scrolled on Forrester articles on her tablet. She stopped on one about Katie and Will and smiled to herself when she saw his picture. Luna’s smile faded when she saw pictures of Will and Electra. She kept scrolling and saw an article about Tom. Zooming in on his face, she couldn’t see a resemblance, so she compared herself in the mirror to the photo. “I just don’t see it,” Luna mused. She said that someone else out there had to be her father.

Luna heard someone at the door and assumed that “Dario” had come back. She opened the door and gasped. “Cousin Finn!” “Luna,” he said as he stepped inside the door. Luna immediately apologized to him. “I am so sorry for what I have done,” Luna gushed. Finn welled up and then walked towards her. Luna was taken aback when he hugged her as he cried.
